It is a glorious Friday Morning and I'm feeling strangely exuberant :D

Yesterday's National Day Parade was truly exciting; I liked how they made use of the radio-controlled lighted kites and illuminated jellyfishes :D It was also funny when the two planes "saluted" the nation. Woot, I guess "There's No Place I'd Rather Be" than in the comfort of the tiny red dot. Love ya, Singapore!

Now time to extend my love to the work piled up on my desk!

It was a good season, and MR had its ups and downs. From 4th to 2nd to 4th to 3rd/2nd.. hmm, looking back, it was quite exciting!

Hm, MR truly has the best house spirit, and woot blue's one of the nicest colours around (: And our combined effort helped our house maintain its standing!

Hope everyone had fun during Nat Day 'cos personally I was quite wowed by the laser show :D:D So have an awesome NAT DAY, spam red and white everyone!

Rawr it has been quite an eventful week! ): But not exactly in a good way.

It's just so heart-wrenching to see your house get last for an IHC! Hmm, but we will and must look on the bright side. When you are down, there's nowhere else to go but UPPPPP! And I think yeah it's really heart-warming to see MR-ians whom you have never known play/cheer their hearts out and being all concerned about the house.

And I didn't screw up flagraising too badly! LOL, maybe it's cos I only did 2 days worth of flagraising 'cos it has been such a rainy week. But my flag was abit retarded on thursday ):

I've been so angsty this week and I blame it on the foul weather! It has been raining non-stop and rargh it's been freezing! Solar-powered me cannot function properly without the SUN. May the grey clouds clear and lalalala let the sun shine next week.

I am going to rant.

I'm starting to feel quite frustrated. Rargh, there's so much to do and so little time. Everything keeps changing, and therefore my plans keep changing. Ugh, PW IS KILLING ME I TELL YOU. Report's due in week 7, and aaah there's so much to be done and we can't fix an interview with dr tan. I hate email correspondance sometimes. So many messages and phone calls, sometimes I just wanna throw my phone against the wall so I can be uncontactable. i don't mind putting in effort for pw, okay duhh i have to put in effort for pw. but rawr it's really giving me quite a headache. Plus, house stuff is piling up, with so many initiatives on hold and t-day gift proposal is due tmr. Corporations are total scammers cos they quote me 2 bucks for a wristband. House capt performance on nday and we haven't had time to sit down to discuss. MR's lagging for IHC and i'm really quite worried even though i know i shldn't be focused on winning, but honestly i dunno if it's the influence from some of the guys, but ah it just doesn't feel good to be 4th. and i spent so much time putting up the bloody IHC board cos estate tore it down and then today sb removed everything again. and cj wants the board back up again. LIKE WHAT THE HELL. i wasted so much time at interact installation reh today. and rargh, everyone's so busy it's so hard to get a proper discussion done. i have tons of work due next week, and there's still a bio test and mock spa, and my math tutor keeps picking on me.

Goodness, I'm missing half the world right now. ><

If there's one good thing about mugging, it's because you can use mugging as an excuse to hold mini-gatherings. Like the one on wednesday with simran and jingli! SIMRAN AND JINGLI ARE <3! We just kept proclaiming our love for each other. Oh no, the term "lesbonerd" just popped into my head; think it was from some novel I read. But anyway, simran and I stuffed ourselves silly with timtam chocolate biscuits and we just sat at taka fountain stoning and looking at old people eat icecream. Ah, and the usual banter between jingli and i was pure bliss, even though we have been at it for all the past few lab sessions. BUT ANYWAY, wednesday was a lovely day! :D

My brother just lapsed into one of his "I must annoy you!!!" phases so I just shut him out of my room. I trust he's more temperamental than his PMS-ing sister who's dealing with cramps atm. One moment he's being all little brother and demands my attention and the next he's yelling his head off. Ugh, hormonal imbalance. Not that mine are in perfect harmony, but ah at any rate I am saner than he is.

FINALLY caught pirates yesterday and woot it was a very very very long movie. I think I squirmed in my seat so much that the lady next me shot me glances once or twice. She probably thought I was some hyperactive teenager. And guess who I had for company: My lovely brother. Okay, he was better than expected. The last movie I watched with him which was "Around the world in 80 days" which had him in such loud guffaws; I swear people probably thought we hailed from the country and haven't watched a movie in eons. But he was on his best behaviour yesterday and I felt sympathetic for him 'cos my poor brother doesn't know his way around town at all. Orchard is almost Greek to him and he thinks it's for the likes of ruffians and delinquents (which is not all that untrue). Yeah, so I'm glad he's not one of those boys who hang around town with immaculately styled hair which probably cut them back by an hour and a bottle of gel. :D Oh, it was adorable though that he was worried that :O people mistook me for his girlfriend. (How is that possible, you ask?) I'm vertically challenged, period.

Oh how I abhor the holidays. They are phony holidays which have you trapped in your room mugging which I haven't exactly been faithfully doing. Rargh, cramps and chemistry are not complementary base pairs. MY MIND IS SCREWED BY SCHOOL. They should blockout the holidays officially for serious rest and relaxation. SULKS.

It has been a whole month since I last blogged :D And haha people are hinting that it's time to update.

But I don't know what to say! Let me try to recall exciting things that happened in the last 30 days, hmm oh rugby and basketball girls finals, final night, investiture!, blutality, CCAL camp! :D Goodness, council is taking over my life but I'm not complaining. I know people are telling me that it takes up way too much time, and it leaves me with no time to rest and study. But I think it's more of my poor time management skills which leave me with no time rather than council activities.

Aiyah! I guess it doesn't matter now since I'm already in it.. I guess I will just make the best out of it and ATTEMPT to juggle both my studies and council duties. Heh! And ah, it's only the 4th day of the june hols and my mum's already nagging me to mug. What will I do for the next 20 plus days? >< June's supposed to be a lovely month for class gatherings, shopping trips with your mum, GOOs, and just sitting around doing nothing. If only we had 2 months instead of one! One for playing and one for mugging!

Ah, I'm alone upstairs and I can hear the TV and voices coming from the living room. I have been missing out on quite alot of family time, and rargh I hate that. Hm, talking to my buddy about how blessed we all are and how we never do seem to realise that. Feeling guilty for all the times I have been such a spoilt brat! >< Goodness, what will I do without my parents? And my brother for annoying me all the time. I don't know; but I'm just grateful for them just being around! Like yesterday, after CCAL camp, when I was all zonked and hungry for real food, my parents simply brought me to where I wanted to eat. And yeah for all the times they stayed up 'cos of my insanely late nights in school. <3!

And because of my awesome family, I think I should stop whining about the holidays and actually be more productive so that my parents can stop worrying about my upcoming CTs. :D
